Personal Identity
This week's lecture will look at Personal Identity and we will be discussing the requirements and deliverables for the next set of homeworks.
Crit Summary
During this weeks lab session we encourage you to carry on with the previous homework's and use the comments covered in the crit as a guide to 'refine' your own work.
This is the last week you will have the opportunity to work on these homework's during the lab session as the next brief will be handed out during Friday's lecture.
If we didn't get a chance to look at your work during the crit session and would like us to give you feedback, please make sure you talk to us during the lab session on Wednesday and we will be more than happy to do so.
Below are some of the general comments from the week 4 crit.
Your Research Diary and Creative Experimentation should be two separate html pages as provided in Week 1, and not combined as we saw in some instances.
Each homework should be a separate file (preferably HTML) e.g. Homework1.1.html and linked from the homepage in the templates supplied and not from within your research diary.
All references should be cited using Harvard Referencing
Homework 1.1 should be accompanied with an illustration of your chosen topic, developed in Adobe Illustrator.
Your research for all homeworkâs should contain at least 1 online & 1 offline source (offline meaning book, magazine, radio, interview).
Homework 1.1 &1.2 should not contain any CSS. This is allowed in 1.3 only.
Research does not entirely consist of copying and pasting directly from the web and simply sourcing the site you copied from. Referring back to what we expect: Your Research Diary involves you finding, reflecting, debating and reinterpreting design issues into your own words from both common and unusual sources, not just from the internet but also books, newspapers and other mediums.
Personal Identity
During the lecture we will introduce the next set of homework's regarding personal identity. There will also be a series of class excercises that will make up part of your Homework 2.1. Please bring along pen, pencils and paper.
The brief and templates for the next series of homework's can be downloaded from the assets below.
