Movie Sequences

As our visiting lecturer was unable to make it today we looked at a range of websites that take hand drawn elements as the basis for their design. The following list covers much of what we looked at…

melkadel.com

psyop.tv

heathersloane.com

kcrevolution.org

notyouraveragejoe.com

kevadamson.co

okaydave.com

goodlittlecompany.com

toucouleur.fr

kusoyama.com

frankpr.it

wefail.com

christiansparrow.com

lucuma.com.ar

kutztown.edu

kinetic.com.sg

cargocollective.com

jcbsong.co.uk

mccoy.co.uk

We also looked at a range of movie title sequences which in many way set the mood for the movie and on occasions end up a better viewing experience than the movie they are introducing.

The best resource for this is The Art of the Title.

We also looked briefly at Saul Bass seen as the father of the movie title sequence. There are a number of sites dedicated to Bass and his work.
